Born in South Korea 1988 and raised in Perth, Western Australia. I was brought up on The Beatles, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Classical Music, and Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds, and from then on, my passion for music and audio had developed.
Piano was my first instrument, followed by a drum kit and during high school, I took up the Trombone which gave me the opportunity to participate in a number of musical ensembles including jazz bands, choirs and taking part in various music tours going interstate.

After high school, I was accepted into The West Australian Academy of Performing Arts undertaking a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Classical Music. Throughout my studies, I was introduced to Audio Production and Composition. I ended up completing a Bachelor of Music in Composition and Music Technology. This provided opportunities to compose music for contemporary dance showcases, write and perform music utilising technology/software, and the techniques to produce and record my own music.
I worked onboard a cruise liner for two 6 month contracts as a musician playing Trombone in the show band travelling around England, Scandinavia , USA, Canada, The Caribbean and Alaska. Please check out my six part Vlog if you would like an insight into what it's like to work as a cruise ship Showband Musician - Click Here.
I also had the opportunity to perform with some well established names onboard within music/entertainment such as Kym Purling, Ian Cooper, Nathan Foley. On land, I also was privileged to assist with setting up for Harry Connick Jr.

After concluding my second cruise ship contact, I was accepted into SAE Creative Media Institute to complete a Bachelor of Audio Production which presented more opportunities in studio production, sound design, post production, audio for picture and collaborative projects with film and animation disciplines.

Musical taste? Give me anything that pushes the boundaries both musically and sonically. The first album that opened up a whole new world to me is Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. My dad would blast the cassette in the car, to the point the cassette eventually got damaged. I would've been about 7 years old and to this day, it still remains a golden masterpiece to me. Other golden masterpieces for me would be The Beatles psychedelic era (Revolver, Sgt Peppers), The Beach Boys (Pet Sounds, Smile), the work of Pink Floyd, and early Emerson, Lake and Palmer (Brain Salad Surgery).
